RIQS Membership Terms and Conditions

By applying for membership with the Rwanda Institute of Quantity Surveyors (RIQS), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Membership Application

1.1. All information provided in the application must be accurate and truthful.

1.2. RIQS reserves the right to verify the information provided and may request additional documentation.

1.3. The application fee is non-refundable, regardless of the outcome of the application.

2. Membership Approval

2.1. All applications are subject to review and approval by the RIQS Membership Committee.

2.2. RIQS reserves the right to reject any application without providing a reason.

2.3. The decision of the Membership Committee is final.

3. Membership Obligations

3.1. Members must adhere to the RIQS Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.

3.2. Members must maintain the confidentiality of RIQS proprietary information.

3.3. Members must pay annual membership fees on time.

3.4. Members must inform RIQS of any changes to their contact information or professional status.

4. Membership Renewal

4.1. Membership is valid for one year from the date of approval.

4.2. Renewal is subject to payment of the annual membership fee.

4.3. RIQS reserves the right to revoke membership for non-payment of fees or violation of the Code of Ethics.

5. Privacy Policy

5.1. RIQS will collect and process personal data in accordance with the Rwanda Data Protection Law.

5.2. Member information may be used for RIQS communications and membership administration.

5.3. RIQS will not share member information with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

6. Amendments

6.1. RIQS reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.

6.2. Members will be notified of any changes to the terms and conditions.
